30 talk!

i turned 30! yea! i am so excited! fully aware that anxiety is what most people feel for me since i am very single! but yea to 30! ready to make things happen..............

Age 7: baby talk......

where do babies come from? this is a classic question although i don't think i ever had the guts to ask that question! a little bit of daddy, mommy and a lot of God! i believe that babies come from a place of love..... for the most part, people who have babies together love each other... if only while they are making the child!

to set the record straight, i have no children. i do plan of having a few kids..............
i recently went to Nigeria for my best friends wedding; as i laid on the bed in my mom's room waiting for the generator to go off for the night, i started to pray and wonder about my future children.
Growing up, the most you knew about any thing was usually what you heard eavesdropping when the parents or adults were talking.
This was how i learnt about sex, relationships etc.
i decided to use this outlet to start conversations with my kids, especially my daughter with whom i might not want to reason once she is here and a teenager.

i woke up and it was paradise....... middle of June i went on an excursion with a friend to the Turks and Caicos Islands all i can say is beautiful!

Loving the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection

So i have spent the past couple of days loving the city of Philadelphia! i was downtown on Friday and Saturday thanks to my girl!!!! Again today, i headed to Philadelphia's city hall........ all i could think about was the wonderful photo session that i would have using the Philly back drop! i love Philadelphia- looking forward to Summer in the city!

so i am 5 days, 2 papers and one journal away from finishing this masters degree! i am so so so excited! OMG! knowing my path to this wonderful place only helps me feel even happier about my self.............. now i just have to get excited about getting a new job!!!!

lazy day

i spent 99% of my day today doing nothing! just had a mental health day all by myself. i also pulled out my journal today...... wrote 3 pages full of thoughts from my heart! really had a relaxing day! looking forward to more in my future........................ where am i going next in my travel trail?

sunday morning

so i am in the middle of getting ready for church, there is no doubt that i will be attacked in church today! frankly, i am tired of it and it will be the beginning of my exit plan! it is such a same that a place of worship will be a place where i feel attacked and forced to retreat..................

Happy New year! so alot has happened this year already
1. i went to naija and i am back home
2. it has been snowing like crazy and i have to shove myself out many times (another reason to move down south)
3. i am working on like 3 school projects at the same time
4. and i have my calendar marked for May 23rd the official last day of my grad school career!
major highlights must include seeing my mom after almost 9 years and seeing my granny after almost 13 years, my poor gram kept touching me to make sure i was the one sitting next to her! i was just happy that i was able to make her happy sha! i am happy about that o
