I enter the restaurant, on the corner of market and 5th street. i look around and pray that you look at least close to your pictures that i saw. then it kicks in, why did i agree to the blind date in the first place, what was i thinking.
i have sent most of the last 6 years being single; aside from the occasional date here and there, i have been single, now its a blind date and the match maker may be looking for a marriage after tonight.
i have been travelling the world. London, Scotland, Ireland, exploring the Caribbean (the Atlantic has healing waters)
this date better be worth my getting dressed- OMG! okay now, he looks good, first visual impression: Good
as we stand at the counter to make our orders, we make some idle conversation. the whole nice to meet you, glad we are meeting portion of the date. i looked at the menu earlier so i kinna know what i want. something i can eat cute.
so girl, you are on a blind date, you said you will never go on a blind date girlie and here you are.
as we sit down with our drinks, waiting for our meal, i glance over at him once and think: not a bad start to a blind date.
EYE CANDY!!!
